Experience: I am an experienced, agile and strong 20 year-old male sailor from the Buzzards Bay and Newport areas. I’m 5’11” and weigh 175 lbs. I grew up sailing dinghies and smaller keelboats at a young age. Soon I started sailing bigger boats in larger and more talented fleets. I sailed in high school and have continued to sail in college for St. Mary’s College in MD. Over the past 7 or so years, I’ve competitively raced on a Baltic 54, Andrew’s Turbo Sled 70, Taylor 44, J/105, J/109, J/80, J/24, as well as several other PHRF/IRC rated boats. On these boats, I have been at mast, bow, pit and behind the winch. The majority of the time I trim or grind, but I will fill whatever position is needed. Some of the regattas that I’ve sailed in include prior BIRW’s, several NOOD’s and PHRF/IRC regattas, Rolex regattas and various national and international 1 Design Events.
